| Introduction
Location. Overlooking the waters of Orient Bay, Hotel La Plantation is located on seven-and-one-half acres of landscaped grounds in Orient Bay, St. Martin. Divided between the Netherlands and France, the island is the smallest territory in the world shared by two sovereign states. There are over 30 white sand beaches on the island and an array of recreational possibilities. including casino's and restaurants serving a variety of international fare. The French capital, Marigot, is touted as having some of the dining venues in the Caribbean, with a number of stylish bistros and restaurants close to the hotel.
Hotel Features. The hotel features an outdoor pool flanked by a sundeck and a poolside bar. The staff can assist with tour planning, concierge and business services. Complimentary breakfast buffets are provided each morning and Café Plantation offers island-inspired dinners in an alfresco setting. Guests can also enjoy signing privileges at nearby restaurants. Two tennis courts are on-site.
Guestrooms. Each of the villas, suites and studios boast ocean or garden views from private terraces. Hand-painted, Caribbean-themed murals and tile floors instill a lively ambience to the property. All units have kitchens or kitchenettes with cooktops, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Other amenities include in-room safes and cable television with premium channels. Dial-up Internet access is offered for a fee.
